Team Ratings
All teams and individual ratings will be based on NAGAAA ratings and format. Your team's rating must be based on the ten (10) highest rated players on the team's roster. Team's players with no established NAGAAA/ASANA rating must rate their players based on the ratings process. Players without a rating will be asked to complete a player rating assessment form to be filled out by the team manager or coach prior to their team’s acceptance into the Aloha Rainbow Classic.
Team Rating from the highest ten players are as follows:
Open C
Team rated 111 to 140
One "B"rated player is allowed per team
(Top 10 team cap still applies)
Open D
No team rated over 110
One "C" rated players is allowed per team
(Top 10 team cap still applies)
Womens +
All Womens + Division players must be classified. Players that do not have established ASANA classifications must be classified prior to participating in the tournament and that classification submitted on that team’s roster. Players that have established ASANA classifications must use their most current classification. All classifications are subject to protest.
Note: 2023 NAGAAA/ASANA ratings will apply.
Tournament Format
All teams will be guaranteed (4) games. Teams will first be playing in round robin pools for seeding (2 games), then will enter a double elimination for regular play.
Fee & Payment Information
The cost for the tournament is $425 by Friday, September 29th, 2023 and $475 after Friday, September 29th, 2023. Due to scheduling as well as other concerns, we cannot accept any new teams after Friday, October 6th, 2023.
